The owner and proprietor of thehungrymind.com is Denise Allec. After reaching the height of her career in Information Technology as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of a $2 billion pharmaceutical company, she left Corporate America, had a beautiful baby, and opened thehungrymind.com Internet Cafe in Southampton, New York. Ms. Allec spent 20 years working in various positions for Xerox, Deloitte & Touche Management Consulting, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Boehringer-Ingelheim, as a Programmer, Systems Analyst, Project Manager, Senior Management Consultant assisting global manufacturing companies, Head of Internet Development and Vice President. She is having a great time taking all that experience and her genuine desire to help people and channeling it into making thehungrymind.com a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all who visit!
